Shetland Sheepdogs

All dogs present had super temperaments and were well groomed.I was very impressed with the cleanliness of teeth -especially those of the older exhibits.

1Smith’s Orean Freeloader. Glamorous rich g/s.10 mths. Nice size and shape. Head handled well. Sweet dark eye and neat well positioned ears. Good reach of neck. Moved briskly and was so full of himself. Should have a promising future. Settled well to win B.P. &PG2

1Cooper’s Caurniehill Single Malt. Immaculately presented rich sable. Whites - including facial blaze, were dazzling. Deep dark sweet eyes. Standing alert & 4 square on a loose lead that enhanced his good reach of neck and strong quarters. Well - boned legs on neatly trimmed feet. Good bend of stifle - strong hocks and good length of correctly carried tail. Shown in well - muscled condition giving drive and enthusiasm to movement. B.D.

1Scott’s Degallo The Legend.A lot to like about this dog.Correct type in head, body and outline with appealing expression. Neat ears that he was somewhat reluctant to use. A bit unsettled when standing but moved smoothly and gracefully around the ring.

1Ritchie’s Avonbank Danielle. Very pretty little 9 mth g/s. Not a lot of white but stood and showed her little white sox off! Good length of neck – ears right up on top. Neatly trimmed. Moved well.

1Smith’s Orean Miss Assertive. I would imagine this one is as her name would suggest! Nice dark eye that gave her a merry and mischievous expression. Made her handler work to get the best from her. Liked her for her shape and size. Very feminine throughout.

Head handles well with correct stop, dark almond shaped eyes and strong under-jaw - held proudly on well - arched neck.A correct double coat of harsh texture, weatherproof and straight that fitted her well to show off and enhance her lovely body shape. Not a flashy bitch markings wise but so full of sheltie charm and charisma that it immediately drew the attention.Well- trained - Stood 4 square on neat oval shaped feet. Covered the ground effortlessly - as her construction would suggest - with super front extension and drive from the rear. Thoroughly deserved B.O.B. & G1
